SSP 50021, SAFETY REQUIREMENTS DOCUMENT - INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION (12 DEC 1995)., The International Space Station (ISS) Safety Requirements Document contains the safety requirements to be used by all United States and International Partner organizations involved in the design, development, production, test, and operation of ISS. The requirements contained herein represent the agreed standard by which the safety of ISS systems will be evaluated by the ISS Safety Review Panel, the Space Shuttle program management team, and the ISS program management team. The contents of this document are intended to be consistent with the tasks and products to be prepared by the ISS participants as defined in SSP 30309 and as implemented per SSP 30599.
