Definitive requirements for specific loads will depend on the type of load. The load types covered in this standard are unit loads, truckloads, railcar loads, and intermodal loads. This standard will be used by all personnel engaged in the transportation of A&E for the Department of Defense (DoD) as the basic reference document for the design of these specific loads.
