MIL-PRF-89040A, PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION: VECTOR PRODUCT INTERIM TERRAIN DATA (VITD) (8 MAY 1996)., This specification defines the content and format requirements of the Defense Mapping Agency's (DMA) Interim Terrain Data (ITD) product in the Vector Product Format (VPF). This product will replace the Current ITD for users requiring this data on Compact Disc - Read Only Memory (CD-ROM). The data base from which VITD is produced is referred to as the Terrain Analysis Data Set (TADS).
