AN938 (REV. 6) (NOTICE 2), AIR FORCE-NAVY AERONAUTICAL STANDARD: TEE, TUBE, INTERNAL THREAD (29-SEP-2000) [S/S BY SAE-AS5192]., AN938 REV 6, dated 21 March 1979, is hereby cancelled. Future acquisitions for this item should refer to SAE International Aerospace Standard AS5192, "Fitting, Tee, Internal Straight Thread Port." Table 1 provides a detailed cross-reference of cancelled AN938 Part or Identifying Numbers (PINs) and replacement AS5192 PINs. The use of "AS" parts is preferable, but "AN" parts may be used for a period of three years from the date of this notice to deplete existing stock. Users are cautioned to evaluate replacements for their particular application.
