RADC-TR-84-xxx, FINAL TECHNICAL REPORT: IMPACT OF NON-OPERATING PERIODS ON EQUIPMENT RELIABILITY (SEP-1984)., Non-operating failure rate prediction models were developed for all part types in MIL-HDBK-217. Observed field failure rate data were collected and analyzed to develop the proposed models. Additionally, a discussion is included concerning comprehensive reliabiltiy prediction for both operating and non-operating periods.
