AFI 33-118, ELECTROMAGNETIC SPECTRUM MANAGEMENT (18 JUL 2005)., This instruction implements Department of Defense Directive (DODD) 4650.1, Policy for Management and Use of the Electromagnetic Spectrum, June 8, 2004; Department of Commerce (DOC), National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) Manual of Regulations and Procedures for Federal Radio Frequency Management (NTIA Manual Revisions); Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 33-1, Command, Control, Communications, and Computer (C4) Systems; and the procedures established by the United States Military Communications-Electronics Board (USMCEB). Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 33-120, Radio Frequency (RF) Management, (will become Electromagnetic Spectrum Management), provides supporting material. It identifies responsibilities for Air Force management of the electromagnetic spectrum and provides procedures for implementing its use. This publication applies to the Air National Guard (ANG).
