AFI 33-118, ELECTROMAGNETIC SPECTRUM MANAGEMENT (18 JUL 2005)., This instruction implements Department of Defense Directive (DODD) 4650.1, Policy for Management and Use of the Electromagnetic Spectrum, June 8, 2004; Department of Commerce (DOC), National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) Manual of Regulations and Procedures for Federal Radio Frequency Management (NTIA Manual Revisions); Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 33-1, Command, Control, Communications, and Computer (C4) Systems; and the procedures established by the United States Military Communications-Electronics Board (USMCEB). Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 33-120, Radio Frequency (RF) Management, (will become Electromagnetic Spectrum Management), provides supporting material. It identifies responsibilities for Air Force management of the electromagnetic spectrum and provides procedures for implementing its use. This publication applies to the Air National Guard (ANG). Refer technical questions or comments on content of this instruction through appropriate command channels to the Air Force Frequency Management Agency (AFFMA/XP), 2461 Eisenhower Avenue, Suite 1203, Alexandria VA 22331-1500. Refer recommended changes and conflicts between this and other publications to Headquarters Air Force Communications Agency (HQ AFCA/EASD), 203 W. Losey Street, Room 1100, Scott AFB IL 62225-5222, using AF Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication. Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this instruction are maintained in accordance with AFMAN 37-123, Management of Records (will become AFMAN 33-363), and disposed of in accordance with the Air Force Web-RIMS Records Disposition Schedule (RDS) located at https://webrims.amc.af.mil/rds/index.cfm.
