STANAG-4670 (ED-3), STANDARDIZATION AGREEMENT: GUIDANCE FOR THE TRAINING OF UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS (UAS) OPERATORS (22-APR-2014)., The standardization field for this STANAG is Training. ATP-3.3.7 will affect the Joint and Air domains primarily, and the Land and Maritime domains secondarily. It will affect any Service that operates unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). ATP-3.3.7 refines the standards for training UAS operators set out in the first edition of STANAG 4670, and will further promote interoperability by improving UAS capabilities in joint operations. The requirement will entail trainers of UAS operators to incorporate these standards in their respective programs, as appropriate. It should not require any changes to equipment, personnel, or systems.
