MSFC-SPEC-1443, OUTGASSING TEST FOR NON-METALLIC MATERIALS ASSOCIATED WITH SENSITIVE OPTICAL SURFACES IN A SPACE ENVIRONMENT. The purpose of this document is to supplement JSC specification SP-R-0022A (Vacuum Stability Requirements of Polymeric Material for Spacecraft Application) by establishing outgassing requirements and test guidelines for non-metallic materials used in the space thermal/vacuum environment in the vicinity of sensitive optical surfaces.
