LPR 7122.1, LANGLEY PROCEDURAL REQUIREMENTS: SYSTEMS ENGINEERING HANDBOOK FOR IN-HOUSE SPACE FLIGHT PROJECTS (17 NOV 2004)., This Langley Procedural Requirements (LPR) provides a summary of the systems engineering procedures associated with spaceflight projects where the primary project components (hardware and
software) are developed in-house. The information in this LPR
should serve a basic reference for any project to develop a
tailored sequence of events, which will lead to achieving the
best system design for the project. This LPR is also supplemental to the NPR 7120.5A, NASA Program and Project Management Processes and Requirements. The
fundamental engineering disciplines described will be applicable to early studies for contracted projects, aeronautical projects,
and ground facility development.
