SSP 52050B, SOFTWARE INTERFACE CONTROL DOCUMENT PART 1, INTERNATIONAL STANDARD PAYLOAD RACK TO INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION - INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION (27 NOV 2000). This document in conjunction with SSP 57000, Pressurized Payloads Interface Requirements Document, and SSP 57003, Attached Payloads Interface Requirements Document, defines the minimum International Space Station Command and Data Handling requirements for International Standard Payload Racks and Attached Payloads. This document contains an introduction, a list of applicable documents, subsections on general and detailed interface and payload specific design requirements, along with appendices for MIL–STD–1553B bus timing profiles, acronyms, glossary of terms, and CCSDS header tailoring. The applicability of these requirements will depend upon the characteristics of the integrated rack or pallet payloads as specified in the individual Payload Integration Agreement (PIA). The interface requirements outlined in this document are mandatory and may not be violated unless specifically agreed upon in the individual Software Interface Control Document.
