SSP 41172U, QUALIFICATION AND ACCEPTANCE ENVIRONMENTAL TEST REQUIREMENTS - INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION PROGRAM (28 MAR 2003)., This document establishes the minimum uniform requirements for qualification and acceptance environmental tests for components, structures, and flight elements. These test requirements are applicable to the International Space Station (ISS) with the exception of the Attached Pressurized Module segment, the Russian segment, and the Japanese Experiment Module segment. These segments shall follow the testing standards of the following agencies: European Space Agency, Russian Space Agency, and National Space Development Agency of Japan. However, it is expected that these standards meet or exceed the standards in this document. These test requirements specify component, structures, and flight element qualification tests; component and flight element acceptance tests; and component, structures, and flight element protoflight tests. Test procedures and margins are specified also. Any deviation to this document shall be documented and processed in accordance with the applicable contract requirements.
