DPR-7123.1-001 (REV. C), NASA DRYDEN PROCEDURAL REQUIREMENT: SYSTEMS ENGINEERING REQUIREMENTS DOCUMENT (SERD) (09-MAR-2011)., The purpose of this document is to establish the Center’s requirements for the implementation of systems engineering practices in accordance with NPR 7123.1. Systems engineering is a logical systems approach performed by multidisciplinary teams to engineer and integrate the Center’s systems to ensure products meet customers’ needs. This systems approach is applied to all elements of a system and all hierarchical levels of a system over the complete project life cycle. In addition, the Center’s interpretation of specific elements of AS9100 is defined to ensure that the Center’s implementation incorporates the fulfillment of these requirements.
