MIL-STD-1530D, DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE STANDARD PRACTICE: AIRCRAFT STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY PROGRAM (ASIP) (31-AUG-2016)., This standard describes the USAF Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP) which defines the requirements necessary to achieve structural integrity in USAF aircraft while managing cost and schedule risks through a series of disciplined, time-phased tasks. It provides direction to government personnel and contractors engaged in the development, production, structural certification, modification, acquisition, and/or sustainment of USAF aircraft. This standard applies to the entire structure of an aircraft, as defined in section 3.1, regardless of aircraft type or procurement strategy, for the entire life cycle of the aircraft.
