acquisitions. This standard provides guidance for the repair process, acquisition, and manufacture of parts and/or spare parts on the landing gear of all military aircraft. This standard covers the process and materials required for the stripping of inorganic finishes. Subsequent heat treating techniques needed to insure hydrogen embrittlement relief of the steel substrate are also described.
