MIL-STD-490A (NOTICE 1), MILITARY STANDARD: SPECIFICATION PRACTICES (31 AUG 1995) [S/S BY MIL-STD-961]., MIL-STD-490A, dated 4 June 1985, is hereby canceled. Requirements for the preparation of program-peculiar specifications have been incorporated into MIL-STD-961, "Department of Defense Standard Practice for Defense Specifications."
