To achieve this objective, this standard: (a) Includes illustrations and supplementary definitions and dimensions to identify O-ring surface imperfections for the purpose of inspection, and (b) Establishes quantitative levels of acceptance for O-rings relative to surface imperfections, type, size and quantity.
