MIL-STD-188/212, DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE INTERFACE STANDARD: SUBSYSTEM DESIGN AND ENGINEERING STANDARDS FOR TACTICAL DIGITAL INFORMATION LINK (TADIL) B (17 OCT 1992)., The purpose of this document is to establish technical
standards and design objectives that are necessary to ensure interoperability
and to promote commonality for communications equipment and subsystems used
in TADIL B. Also, this document established acceptable overall subsystem
performance and maximum flexibility of subsystem layout in order to satisfy
diverse user requirements without the restrictions caused by interface and
incompatibility problems.
