MIL-STD-109C (NOTICE 1), MILITARY STANDARD: QUALITY ASSURANCE TERMS AND DEFINITIONS (31 MAY 1995) [REFER TO ISO-8402 OR ASQC-A8402 OR EQUIVALENT]., MIL-STD-109C, dated 2 September 1994, is hereby canceled without replacement. Future acquisitions should refer to an acceptable non–Government Standard on quality assurance terms definitions, such as International Organization for Standards (ISO) 8402, ‘Quality Management and Quality Assurance- Vocabulary”; American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/American Society for Quality Control (ASQC)A8402, ’’Quality Management and Quality Assurance-Vocabulary”; or comparable standards as alternatives to MIL-STD-109C.
