MIL-L-87132B (NOTICE-2), MILITARY (DETAIL) SPECIFICATION: LUBRICANT, CETYL ALCOHOL, 1-HEXADECANOL, APPLICATION TO FASTENERS (21-FEB-2007) [S/S BY SAE-AS87132]., MIL-L-87132B dated 15 Dec 1994, with Notice 1 (Inactive for New Design) dated 29 Sep 1995, is hereby canceled. Future acquisitions may refer to Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Aerospace Standard AS87132. Note that the SAE document includes the Type III water base solvent from the B revision and reestablishes the Type I petroleum base solvent, previously specified in MIL-L-87132A.
