MIL-DTL-8777F, DETAIL SPECIFICATION: WIRE, ELECTRICAL, SILICONE-INSULATED, COPPER, 600-VOLT, 200 DEGREES C (09-NOV-2011)., Inactive for new design after 01 June 1998. This specification covers single conductor wire with a silicone primary insulation capable of continuous operation at 600 volts and a maximum conductor temperature of 200 degrees C (392 degrees F). These wires are suitable for use in aircraft and missiles using any combination of electrical loading and ambient temperature, provided the maximum conductor temperature is not exceeded. The wires covered by this specification are not intended as fire-resistant wires.
