The compounds covered by this specification may be used on any metal surfaces. They are primarily intended for in–service treatment of moving parts. The ability of these materials to lubricate, to prevent corrosion, to displace water and to be used at temperatures up to 20 DEG C (40 DEG F) make these particularly suited for service use.
