MIL-DTL-46540C, DETAIL SPECIFICATION: CASE, CARTRIDGE: 20 MM - M103 (03-MAY-2006) [SUPERSEDING MIL-C-46540B]., Reactivated after 3 May 2006 and may be used for new and existing designs and acquisitions. This specification covers the Case, Cartridge: 20MM, M103 for use with 20 millimeter ammunition (see 6.1). This item is military unique, and these cartridge cases are intended for ammunition to be used in U.S Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force 20mm automatic gun systems that have been designed for firing cartridges having the M103 type case configuration.
