MIL-D-38386E (NOTICE 2), MILITARY SPECIFICATION: DUCT ASSEMBLY, GROUND, CONDITIONED AIR, INSULATED, FLEXIBLE (26 APR 2000) [S/S BY SAE-AS38386]., MIL-D-38386E, dated 28 August 1989, is hereby cancelled. Future designs for this item should refer to the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Aerospace Standard, AS38386, “Duct Assembly, Ground, Conditioned Air, Insulated, Flexible.” Table I provides a detailed cross-reference of cancelled MIL-D-38386 Part or Identifying Numbers (PINs) and replacement AS38386 PINs. The use of AS38386 parts is preferable, but Military parts may be used for a period of three years from the date of this notice to deplete existing stock. Users are cautioned to evaluate replacements for their particular application.
