MIL-C-45300B, MILITARY SPECIFICATION: CAP, FUEL TANK: FOR MILITARY COMBAT AND TACTICAL TRANSPORT VEHICLES (16 FEB 1988) [S/S BY MIL-DTL-45300C]., Inactive for new design after 22 January 1999. This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense. This specification covers three types of fuel tank caps intended for use on military vehicles. The type I and type II are vented, while the type III fuel tank cap is non-vented (see 6.1).
