MIL-B-12841B (NOTICE-2), MILITARY SPECIFICATION: BASIC ISSUE ITEMS FOR MILITARY VEHICLES, CARRIAGES AND EQUIPMENT; PREPARATION FOR SHIPMENT AND STORAGE OF (29-JUL-2004) [S/S BY MIL-STD-3003]., MIL-B-12841B, dated 18 February 1970, is hereby cancelled. Future acquisitions for this specification are no longer covered under MIL-V-62038E(AT). MIL-STD-3003A(AT), dated 1 March 1988; “Vehicles, Wheeled: Preparation For Shipment And Storage Of” was determined to be a suitable replacement. Users are cautioned to evaluate replacements for their particular application.
