MIL-PRF-63042D (NOTICE 1), PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION: MANUALS, TECHNICAL: PROCEDURES FOR DESTRUCTION OF EQUIPMENT TO PREVENT ENEMY USE (12 MAY 2006) [SUPERSEDING MIL-M-63042C]., MIL-PRF-63042D(TM) including Amendment 1, dated 15 November 2001, and any subsequent revisions or change notices are inactive for new design and shall be no longer used to acquire technical manuals for new systems. New systems should use MIL-STD-40051-1 with change 1 entitled "DOD Standard Practice, Preparation of Technical Information for Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs)" and MIL-STD-40051-2 with change 1 entitled "DOD Standard Practice, Preparation of Technical Information for Page-Based Technical Manuals", to acquire technical manuals.
