MIL-PRF-32140, PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION, RELAYS, ELECTROMAGNETIC, RADIO FREQUENCY, ESTABLISHED RELIABILITY, GENERAL SPECIFICATION FOR (14 JAN 2004)., This specification covers the general requirements for electromagnetic, RF hermetically sealed relays for use in electronic and communication-type equipment (see 6.1). These relays are designed to operate over the full range from low level to power switching with contact ratings up to 1 ampere direct current (dc). The failure rate level is established at a confidence level of 95 percent based on 1 million to 20 million cycles (see 1.3) at maximum ambient temperature (see 3.1).
