MIL-PRF-2105E (NOTICE 3), PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION: LUBRICATING OIL, GEAR, MULTIPURPOSE (26 AUG 2008) [SUPERSEDING MIL-L-2105D] [S/S BY SAE-J2360]., MIL-PRF-2105E, dated 22 August 1995, is hereby canceled as of 16 February 2005 and has been replaced by Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) J2360, "Lubricating Oil, Gear Multipurpose (Metric) Use." For U.S. Military use, only the following grades have been adopted:
