TT-P-1757A, FEDERAL SPECIFICATION: PRIMER COATING, ZINC CHROMATE, LOW-MOISTURE SENSITIVITY (26-SEP-1983) [SUPERSEDING TT-P-666B]., This specification covers the requirements for two types and colors for one grade of a low-moisture-sensitivity, corrosion-inhibiting primer, primarily intended for spray application on surface-treated aluminum surfaces, or on surfaces coated with pre-treatment coating in accordance with MIL-C-8514 or DOD-P-15328. This primer may be used either with or without top coating. When suitably thinned, the primer may be used for dip or flow-coat application.
