These seals are not intended to resist a forced entry attack. The generic classification of seals utilized in this specification is based on work published by Sandia Laboratories (see 6.6). This is not to imply that other seals do not exist. Other seals for use in higher antipilferage security applications fall outside the scope of this specification. Users of this document are reminded to refer to their individual agencies' Physical Security Manual and the Department of Defense manual 5100.76-M as appropriate.
