FED-STD-1020A, FEDERAL STANDARD: TELECOMMUNICATIONS: ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF BALANCED VOLTAGE DIGITAL INTERFACE CIRCUITS (01 JAN 1980)., This standard specifies the electrical characteristics of balanced voltage digital interface circuits normally implemented in integrated circuit technology that are to be employed for the interchange of serial binary data, tuning, and control signals between voice or data telecommunication equipment where information is being conveyed at the DC baseband level at data signaling rates of up to 10 megabits/second.
