FAA-STD-066, DOT FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION STANDARD PRACTICE: WEB SERVICE TAXONOMIES (26 FEB 2010)

FAA-STD-066, DOT FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION STANDARD PRACTICE: WEB SERVICE TAXONOMIES (26 FEB 2010)., This standard specifies the minimum set of taxonomies needed to describe FAA web services and to be used in FAA‐affiliated service registries, web service‐related artifacts and semantic models. The standard does not preclude but rather encourages the use of additional taxonomies that may be relevant to a particular service registry, and it provides requirements for documenting the content and structure of the additional taxonomies. The standard does not dictate the technology to be used to support the implementation of these taxonomies. FAA programs and developers of various artifacts are encouraged to use a range of technologies.
