FAA-STD-065, DOT FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION STANDARD PRACTICE: PREPARATION OF WEB SERVICE DESCRIPTION DOCUMENTS (26 FEB 2010)

FAA-STD-065, DOT FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION STANDARD PRACTICE: PREPARATION OF WEB SERVICE DESCRIPTION DOCUMENTS (26 FEB 2010)., This standard provides a set of requirements for developing a Web Service Description Document (WSDD). The WSDD provides the details needed to sufficiently describe a web service as a part of FAA’s implementation of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).  This standard does not prescribe or suggest any technological solutions for implementing a web service. Rather, it seeks to provide a semantic basis for a service description that is flexible enough to accommodate different web service implementations for use across multiple business domains.  This standard does not specify any configuration management (CM) or quality assurance (QA) policies, rules or assertions to which the developed WSDD may be subjected.
