This Standard is confined to the repair and modification of single-sided, double- sided and multi-layer printed circuit board assemblies. However, rework may be necessary on defective solder joints as a consequence of the repair or modification process. Unassembled (bare) printed circuit boards are not covered by this Stan- dard.
