ESA PSS-03-204 (ISSUE 1), STRUCTURAL ACOUSTICS DESIGN MANUAL (MAR 1996)., The objective of this manual is to provide the means of predicting the response of equipment and structures to high-frequency vibration environments. The intention is that it should be used from the preliminary design stage onwards. Many of the methods presented here rely on empirical and physical observations as well as mathematical models of the environment and the structural response. The prediction techniques must therefore be sued with care and with an understanding of their purpose and limitations.
