DOE-STD-1022-94, DOE STANDARD NATURAL PHENOMENA HAZARDS SITE CHARACTERIZATION CRITERIA.The criteria and recommendations in this standard shall apply to site characterization for the purpose of mitigating Natural Phenomena Hazards in all DOE facilities covered by DOE O 420.1. Criteria for site characterization not related to NPH are generally not included in this document unless they are deemed necessary for clarification. General and detailed site characterization requirements are provided in the areas of meteorology, hydrology, geology, seismology and geotechnical studies.
