DOE-STD-5506-2007, This Standard provides detailed guidance for consistently analyzing hazards and selecting controls for TRU waste activities. The hazards analysis, accident analysis, and controls for TRU waste activities must be integrated into the overall SB documents for DOE Category 1, 2, or 3 nuclear facilities prepared in accordance with 10 CFR Part 830, Subpart B requirements (or alternate methodology where approved in accordance with the regulation).
