DI-TMSS-81814A, DATA ITEM DESCRIPTION: INTERACTIVE ELECTRONIC TECHNICAL MANUAL (IETM) CONTENT PLAN (06-FEB-2014)., The Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) Content Plan provides the Government program manager with a detailed overview of the proposed scope and functionality of the IETM in compliance with the contract and applicable Technical Manual Contract Requirement (TMCR). The plan is submitted to the Government for review and acceptance prior to the development of the IETM. This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instruction for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract. This DID is intended for use when procuring non-linear format IETMs to be developed in accordance with TMCRs based on the requirements of MIL-DTL-24784 or S1000D that have been tailored specifically for NAVSEA use.
