DI-TMSS-81670, DATA ITEM DESCRIPTION: CONTRACTOR EVALUATION OF TECHNICAL PUBLICATIONS AND RECOMMENDED CHANGES (14-AUG-2006)., To obtain information from contractors relative to the adequacy and accuracy of existing technical publications which are intended for use in support of the operation and maintenance of system/equipment(s). a. This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract. b. Provides an evaluation of the technical adequacy of existing technical publications and, as required, recommendations for changes which are considered necessary in order for the subject document(s) to comply with interfacing documentation requirements established by the procurement document.
