DI-SESS-81269B, DATA ITEM DESCRIPTION: TECHNICAL DIRECTIVE (21-DEC-2011)., The Technical Directive (TD) provides the authority and instructions to accomplish and record a material change, repositioning, modification, an alteration, or inspection of the equipment or software to which it applies. This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data described by NAVAIR 00-25-300. This DID applies to aircraft, weapons, equipment, support equipment, trainers, training devices, and companion software items. This DID does not apply to intelligence processing equipment. This DID contains the format, content and preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific task requirement as delineated in the contract. This DID supersedes DI-CMAN-81269A.
