This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for a Source Control Drawing Approval Request resulting from the work task described by 5.4.1 of MIL-STD-31000. b. This DID is intended for use in data acquisitions requiring Source Control Drawings which the Government may use for future procurements. c. This DID supersedes DI-SESS-81010D and is related to DI-SESS-81000E, \"Product Drawings/Models and Associated Lists\" and DI-MISC-80071E, “Parts Approval Requests”.
