DI-MISC-81624, DATA ITEM DESCRIPTION: NOTIFICATION OF TEST/TRIALS (01-AUG-2001)., A Notification of Test will be used to identify testing to be performed, and when and where testing will be performed. This notification allows the Government to plan for the witnessing of selected testing. When used as a Notification of Trial, it provides the contractor’s proposed dates for a craft trial. For an Underway Trial, the Notification allows NAVSEA the time to appoint a Trials Board.
