DI-DRPR-81008A, DATA ITEM DESCRIPTION: SPECIAL TOOLING (ST) DRAWINGS AND ASSOCIATED LISTS (21-MAY-1997) [S/S BY DI-SESS-81008B]., Special Tooling (ST) drawings and associated lists provide the data required for the limited production of ST which duplicates the physical and performance characteristics of the original ST. This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for ST drawings and associated lists resulting from the work task described by 3.6.6 of MIL-DTL-31000A. 7.2 This DID is applicable to acquisition of military systems, equipment, and components which require the use of special tooling to achieve the engineering requirements of the item.
