A-A-59281, COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION: CLEANING COMPOUND, SOLVENT MIXTURES (08 MAR 1999) [SUPERSEDING MIL-C-38736B]., This commercial item description (CID) covers two blends of mixed cleaning solvent for use in final cleaning of chemically treated aluminum alloy surfaces and solvent-resistant coatings prior to application of chemical treatments or integral fuel tank sealants. The cleaning solvent mixtures shall be of the following types as specified (see 7.3): Type I - Normal solvent blend Type II - Non-photochemically reactive solvent blend.
