A-A-59117, COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION: INSECTICIDE, MALATHION, EMULSIFIABLE CONCENTRATE (02 SEP 1997] [SUPERSEDING O-I-565C]., This specification covers two classes of an emulsifiable concentrate containing malathion insecticide. The insecticide shall be an emulsifiable concentrate of malathion (O,O-dimethyl phosphorodithioate of diethyl mercaptosuccinate). The emulsifying agent used to produce the emulsifiable concentrate shall be completely soluble in it and shall be stable in the presence of malathion. The emulsifiable concentrate shall contain no less than 57.0% by weight malathion and shall be compatible with diesel fuel oil number two.
