A-A-59117A, COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION: INSECTICIDE, MALATHION, EMULSIFIABLE CONCENTRATE (14 APR 2011]., This commercial item description (CID) covers one type of malathion insecticide emulsifiable concentrate, deodorization optional (for outdoor use). The insecticide shall be an emulsifiable concentrate of malathion (O, O-dimethyl phosphorodithioate of diethyl mercaptosuccinate). The emulsifying agent used to produce the emulsifiable concentrate shall be completely soluble in it and shall be stable in the presence of malathion. The emulsifiable concentrate shall contain no less than 57.0 percent by weight malathion and shall be compatible with diesel fuel oil number two in accordance with ASTM D975, "Standard Specification for Diesel Fuel Oils".
