AN941 (REV. 6) (NOTICE 1), AIR FORCE-NAVY AERONAUTICAL STANDARD: ELBOW, TUBE, INTERNAL THREAD, 45 DEG. (29 SEP 2000) [S/S BY SAE-AS5191]., AN941 REV 6, dated 21 March 1979, is hereby cancelled. Future acquisitions for this item should refer to SAE International Aerospace Standard AS5191, "Fitting, Elbow, 45 Deg, Internal Straight Thread Port." Table 1 provides a detailed cross-reference of cancelled AN941 Part or Identifying Numbers (PINs) and replacement AS5191 PINs. The use of "AS" parts is preferable, but "AN" parts may be used for a period of three years from the date of this notice to deplete existing stock. Users are cautioned to evaluate replacements for their particular application.
