AN919 (REV. 9) (NOTICE 1), AIR FORCE-NAVY AERONAUTICAL STANDARD: REDUCER - EXTERNAL THREAD FLARED TUBE (28 SEP 1999) [SEE NOTICE 3 FOR REPLACEMENT INFORMATION]., AN919 REV 9, dated 4 August 1983, is hereby cancelled. Future acquisitions for this item should refer to Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Aerospace Standard (AS) AS5174, "Fitting, Union and Reducer, Flared." Table 1 provides a detailed cross-reference of cancelled AN919 Part or Identifying Numbers (PINs) and replacement AS5174 PINs. The use of "AS" parts is preferable, but "AN" parts may be used for a period of three years from the date of this notice to deplete existing stock. Users are cautioned to evaluate replacements for their particular application.
