AN915 (REV. 11) (NOTICE 1), AIR FORCE/NAVY AERONAUTICAL STANDARD: ELBOW, PIPE,: ELBOW, PIPE, 45 DEG. (22 APR 1999) [S/S BY SAE-AS4855]., AN915 REV 11, dated 10 February 1984, is hereby cancelled. Future acquisitions for this item should refer to Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Aerospace Standard (AS) AS4855, "Elbow, 45 Deg, Pipe, Internal and External Thread." Table 1 provides a detailed cross-reference of cancelled AN915 Part or Identifying Numbers (PINs) and replacement AS4855 PINs. The use of "AS" parts is preferable, but "AN" parts may be used for a period of three years from the date of this notice to deplete existing stock. Users are cautioned to evaluate replacements for their particular application.
