AN848 (REV. 11) (NOTICE 1), MILITARY STANDARD: ELBOW, HOSE, 90 DEG. (20 JUL 2000) [S/S BY SAE-AS5188]., AN848 REV 11, dated 20 March 1979, is hereby cancelled. Future acquisitions for this item should refer to Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Aerospace Standard (AS) AS5188, "Fitting, Elbow, 90°, Bulkhead, Hose." Table 1 provides a detailed cross-reference of cancelled AN848 Part or Identifying Numbers (PINs) and replacement AS5188 PINs. The use of "AS" parts is preferable, but "MS" parts may be used for a period of three years from the date of this notice to deplete existing stock. Users are cautioned to evaluate replacements for their particular application.
